Easter and Vishu

Easter

The festival of Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, described in the New Testament of the Bible as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his crucifixion.

Vishu

Unique to the state of Kerala, Vishu (വിഷു) marks the beginning of a new year in the Hindu calendar, with the month of Medam (മേടം). It is considered a festival of light and fireworks.

BAI celebrates Easter and Vishu together. It is one of the major event in which we bring unity in diversity. We have members from different religious background and we all come together to celebrate these two wonderful celebrations.
